Meet the team
Jamie:
Jamie is the voice and research brain behind The Darkives. A former early education teacher turned corporate jocky (for now).
She’s always had a deep love for history, If there’s a detailed period drama or historical series out there, she’s probably already watched it… twice.
On the show, Jamie brings the stories, digging through the archives, separating fact from fiction, and uncovering the details that make history feel real. Off the mic, she’s counting down the days until she can trade in the corporate grind for full-time historical storytelling.
Leo:
Leo is the audio wizard, and resident reactor on The Darkives. After leaving the corporate sales world behind, Leo now works full-time as a pet stylist (dogs are the coolest)
Leo brings the curiosity, the questions, and the “wait… what?” moments. He’s a fan of a good story in any form, whether it’s history, movies, or something completely off the wall.
On the show, Leo helps turn deep historical dives into conversations that feel like you’re sitting in the room with two friends trying to wrap their heads around how wild the past really was.
